Proje hakkında

In teaching and learning a foreign language, vocabulary knowledge plays an important role. Learning vocabulary is the first step in learning a foreign language for students, and they have difficulties in learning new words. However, when we use these words with tongue twisters, songs, games and idioms, it draws their attention and this makes learning process easier. Our project will support our students to enhance their vocabulary knowledge easily and enjoyably. We planned various activities which will help them socialising, avoiding the prejudices against foreign language learning.

ÇALIŞMA SÜRECI

With the approval of our project, the project partners and students will undergo 2 months of intensive work. By sticking to the project schedule to be created:
February / March:
• Determination of project schools, partners and students
• Uploading necessary documents for the project
• Carrying out project logo and poster selections
• Creating social media accounts of our project
• Making pre-surveys
March:
• Making a handmade mini dictionary
• Tongue twisters activity
• Vocabulary games with web 2.0 tools
• Creating a poetry book with the acrostic poems which are written by the students
April:
• Singing activity
• Idioms activity
• 23 April National Sovereignty and Children's Day activity – congratulations cards
• Final product
• Evaluations
NOTE: Our project calendar will be reviewed with the partners every month and necessary changes will be made.
